My usual mani/pedi mantra was 'business on the fingers, party on the toes'...

... until I fell in love with brights.  Every time I hit my polish stash there were at least two colours I just had to use immediately.  Choosing just one for my weekly pedicure was a 20 minute affair, so I doubled up with brights, and freed up another 10 minutes for me to drool over my Grazia

As with anything you put on repeat, I eventually started getting antsy for something different. I knew for sure I needed a change when I suddenly found myself coming home with a neutral nail colour with every trip to the shops. OPI Tickle My France-yEssie Sand TropezNails Inc. Basil Street all moved into my stash within a week.  And then I stumbled upon the switch-up.

With toes in need of a touch up and a brand new neutral polish just itching to be popped open, but with fingers still in tip top shape,  I had my first 'party on the fingers, business on the toes' moment.

I was so happy with the result, it had me doing the 'stare at my nails every 20 minutes' routine and I've been switching it up ever since!

What is your current mani/pedi mantra?
